More details have been revealed about Mr. Sawyer's strange behaviour before his death
According to reports, Ebola infected Liberian-American, Patrick Sawyer might have knowingly infected the health workers who attended to him.Indications pointed to this after it was revealed that he urinated on them and even sprayed his blood on the hospital bed.
According to the reports, Mr. Sawyer was insistent on getting to the Calabar venue of the ECOWAS conference he came for despite being informed that he was infected with Ebola.
When the health workers tried to stop him from leaving, he allegedly took out his penis and urinated on them and he also tore out his intravenous line and splashed blood around.
Ebola is transferred through bodily fluids when an ill person is in the latter stages of the disease.
Nigerians have continued to query Mr. Sawyer's actions with many calling him a medical terrorist.
Nigeria was Ebola free until Sawyer came into the country and died in a Lagos hospital on July 25.
3 health workers who made primary contact with him have died of the disease.
