South Carolina woman Refuses to Pay Her Restaurant Bill Because ‘Jesus’ Will Pay For It (Photo)

A 51-year-old South Carolina woman was arrested and jailed on Sunday night after she created a scene at a local restaurant then refused to pay her food bill because “Jesus” was going to pay for her dinner according to his promises in the bible.

Restaurant managers asked April Lee Yates, to leave a seafood buffet after she came in four hours earlier to have dinner.

When staff approached her with a bill of $26, she told the waiter that she didn’t have the money to pay because “someone else” had planned to pay her bill. When police asked her the name of the “someone else” paying, she replied, “Jesus.”

Yates was placed under arrest for defrauding a restaurant and confined in Jail.
