Rumored “Innjoo A+” Devices Are Actually Halo Plus & Fire2 Plus LTE

A Youtube video released by Innjoo last week gave some hints about new devices to be launched. There were speculations the device would be named Innjoo A+ but we’ve already confirmed there’s no such device. Instead, Innjoo is releasing upgraded products from the Halo and Fire product lines. Innjoo Fire 2 Plus LTE, Innjoo Halo Plus 3G and Innjoo Fire 2 3G have been unveiled by the company at a tech bloggers round-table meeting yesterday.

Innjoo Fire2 Plus LTE

This seems to be the biggest deal as it sports specifications that make it a worthy mid-range device. The device has a battery capacity of 4,600mAh. As the name suggests, the device supports 4G LTE and it boasts of a 5.5-inch screen. The device has a metal back cover, it comes with 2GB RAM and the internal storage capacity stands at 16GB. However, this can be expanded up to 128GB with a micro-SD card. Here’s an overview of the technical specifications:

Innjoo Halo Plus

Innjoo Halo plus is an upgrade to the Innjoo halo we reviewed last year. The device now comes with a 5.5-inch screen and the battery too has gone up from 3200mAh to 3600mAh. The random access memory is still pegged at 1GB and the ROM capacity is 8GB but there’s an SD card slot that supports up to 32GB SD card.

Innjoo Fire2 isn’t new, we’ve heard about it since late last year and it has been available in the Middle East for a while now. However, it was one of the device shown yesterday and it’s an entry-level device with moderate specifications:

The prices haven’t been announced but the devices will be available on Jumia exclusively starting from May 31st for the Jumia Mobile Week.
