People with These 3 Skills Will Be Successful in The Future Job Market — Bill Gates
1 minute read
I am a Banking and Finance graduate, finished with a strong 2.1,
but if I could go back in time, I’d go for what I had in mind to study
(Computer Information System, BSc CIS), but couldn’t because of the
education system in Nigeria that requires commercial students pursue a
commercial course.
Nevertheless, I intend to get a new degree in a Science/Tech field and Bill Gates has further solidified this plan of mine.
In a chat with LinkedIn Executive Editor, Daniel Roth, Bill Gates concludes that people proficient in Science, Engineering or Economics will be “the agents of change for all institutions.”
According to him:
I do think that basic knowledge of the sciences, math skills, economics — a lot of careers in the future will be very demanding on those things, not necessarily that you’ll be writing code, but you need to understand what can the engineers do and what can they not do. How are they likely to revolutionize the field that you are in even if you are thinking about sales or marketing.
So, if you are undecided about your career path, you might want to look at these 3 areas (Provided you are passionate about them).
