1 minute read

The Shehu of Bama, Kyari Ibn Umar El-kanemi, is dead. The ruler, who was in his mid-60s, passed on in his home in Maiduguri at around 3 p.m., as indicated by the Borno State data magistrate, Babakura Jato.

More subtleties of the ruler's demise have not been revealed. Be that as it may, the data magistrate had while declaring the improvement at the preparation of the COVID-19 council Monday evening, stated: "his passing has nothing to do with coronavirus pandemic."

The expired emir has been living in Maiduguri, outside his area, for as far back as a long time since his emirate, Bama, was unstuck and taken by Boko Haram.

Despite the fact that his royal residence was remade in 2018, the ruler has not completely come back to Bama, a town that is as yet working as a battalion town and IDP camp for other uprooted networks.
