Police block lorry of 200 Almajiris in Kwara

The Kwara state police order Saturday blocked a lorry stacked with around 200 suspected Almajiris around Kanbi/Oloru/Bode-Sadu hub of Moro nearby government zone of the state.

The lorry, with enlistment No. Kaduna MKA 54 XL, driven by one Shehu Hashim of Manigi in Niger state, was supposed to pass on the 'travelers' from Funtua in Katsina State.

Spokespeeson of the state police order Ajayi Okasanmi said that: "On the guidance of the Commissioner of Police Kayode Egbetokun, the lorry and the 200 Almajiri young people were accompanied by completely furnished policemen to the outskirt of Niger and Kwara states from where they will come back to Katsina state they guaranteed they originated from.

"The order wishes to utilize this chance to request the participation of occupants of outskirt networks in the state to constantly chip in data on developments of vehicles/individuals on unlawful courses navigating their networks.
